Modern Slavery Policy

Last updated: 22 August 2026

Overview

Arkyi Tech ("Arkyi", "we", "us") takes a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in any form, including forced labour, servitude, human trafficking, and child labour. This statement sets out the steps we take, as a young but growing organisation, to understand and address these risks in our own operations and the suppliers we work with.

Our organisation

Arkyi Tech is an IT consulting and technology delivery practice, operating from a single Innovation Hub in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, with an Australia-based leadership presence. Our engineers are engaged directly rather than sourced through a chain of subcontracted labour brokers, which keeps our own workforce risk comparatively low and directly visible to us.

We adhere to all applicable labour laws in both countries in which we operate: Vietnam's Labour Code and Australia's Fair Work Act and related workplace relations legislation, covering matters including working hours, minimum wage, leave entitlements, workplace safety, and freedom from discrimination.

Our supply chain

Our supply chain is small and mostly limited to professional services we rely on to operate: cloud and software vendors, office and equipment providers, and, occasionally, specialist recruitment partners. We expect every supplier we engage to comply with applicable labour laws, and we favour established, reputable providers over unverified intermediaries.

Recruitment and our people

Every engineer who joins an Arkyi pod is sourced, vetted, and onboarded directly through our own recruitment pipeline, the same process we describe elsewhere as "the engine behind every pillar." Direct hiring, fair pay, and freely given consent to work are non-negotiable parts of that process, and we do not use recruitment agents who charge placement fees to candidates.

Due diligence and risk assessment

As a young company, our due diligence today is proportionate to our size: we review new suppliers and partners before engaging them, and we treat any credible concern about forced labour or exploitative practice (in our own operations or a supplier's) as grounds for immediate review of that relationship. As Arkyi grows, we intend to formalise this into a documented supplier assessment process.

Raising a concern

Anyone (staff, contractor, supplier, or member of the public) who has a concern about modern slavery or unethical labour practice connected to Arkyi can raise it in confidence by emailing legal@arkyisolutions.com.au. We will treat any report seriously and will not penalise anyone for raising a concern in good faith.

Training and awareness

We brief our leadership team on the indicators of modern slavery and forced labour, and on how to escalate a concern. As we scale the Hub, this awareness will extend into formal onboarding for every new pod.
